The 6th Millbrae Japanese Culture Festival will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2011.
On stage, there will be a variety of performances including Koto (Japanese harp), Kyudo (Japanese archery), Japanese dance, Judo, Okinawan dance & taiko, Folk dance & songs, Sailor Moon show and more!!
There are activities for children, too. They are story time, fishing game, experience of calligraphy and origami and more!!
Popular Japanese sweet rice pounding (Mochi pounding) is also fun. The fresh mochi will be served to everybody for FREE.
You can also enjoy Bonsai, tea ceremony and Ikebana demonstrations. And variety of food booth and vendors.
The location of the Festival is 1 Library Avenue, Millbrae, CA 94030. It is in 10-minutes walk from BART Millbrae station. We also have FREE parking space in front of the site of the Festival.
